The Dress

Gorgeous, Elegant, Timeless Wedding Dress…. This is how I have always described this dress. I fell in love with this dress when I saw it in a magazine. When I saw it in person, and then put it on, it was absolutely breathtaking- It still takes my breath away today looking at it.

Brand new, never worn, no alterations, original Alfred Angelo designer dress with price tag still on it from Davids Bridal. Has original Alfred Angelo interior dress bag, and Davids Bridal sturdy outer wedding dress bag. Has been properly stored.

Size 8- true to size, color: Ivory/Champagne, Material: Satin, chapel train, no tule or crinoline underneath, just 1 layer of sheath material, lightweight.

Dress has gorgeous crystal beading on the bust area, and crystal beading continues on the entirety of the spaghetti straps of the dress. The spaghetti straps are versatile, and they can be worn either straight back, crisscross or halter style. There is also crystal beading on the side hip of the dress where the front rouching is gathered. Back of dress has a style of mid low back and has rouching down to lower back of dress and hips- Very pretty. Train is chapel train and lightweight so bustling will be easy when altered.

Dress comes with a detachable “modesty panel” that snaps inside the dress in the bust area. Modesty panel is sheer and is covered in crystal beading to match the beading on the bustline. A modesty panel is made in case brides want to use the panel to conceal cleavage on the dress during a ceremony.

Pictures attached are of the actual dress from the bridal magazine so one can see the model actually wearing it. There is also 1 picture of me trying it on in the shop, and the rest of the pictures are of the actual dress hanging up. I have also included pictures of the dress with and without the “modesty panel” so one can see the look with and without the panel.

I am including with the sale of the dress, an ivory veil (mid back length) tule, with matching crystal beading same as the dress. I am also including a small satin clutch purse, dyed to match the same color of the dress. Purse has interior metal braided chain so you can carry on wrist if needed. Purse also has a crystal beaded ornamentation, (It’s a pin/broach and can be taken off easily).

I also have 1-1/4-inch-high heels, size 7-1/2, dyed to match same color of dress. Shoes are brand new, never worn except when trying on the dress at home. Shoes are open toed, enclosed back heel, and has crystal ornamentation on one side of each shoe. Shoes don’t have to come with dress due to one’s different shoe size, but I wanted to mention in case one does wear size 7-1/2, plus they are dyed to match dress.

In the video, it shows pictures of the top of the dress and, shows the veil and the dress together so one can see the matching beading. Shoes and purse are also part of the video clip.

Unfortunately, my wedding never happened, which is the reason for selling the dress. But as people say, some things just aren’t meant to be, and I am a firm believer of that. This dress wasn’t meant for my wedding- But maybe it can be for yours!
