The Dress

Beautiful Sara dress by Sassi Holford. V-neck with gathered skirt and round back.

I felt amazing and comfortable in this wedding dress, and received so many compliments about how lovely it looked on the day and it's flattering from all angles. A truly unique dress that's suitable for all weather; light to wear but also sleeved. Lots of flexibility to dance! Made in the UK by Sassi Holford.

I am 5ft 5 inches tall and wore 3 inch heels. The dress length can easily be shortened if required. I am a small size 14 and the dress is UK14, however I would say it's more 12-14 to be on the safe side (wedding dress sizing is often slightly smaller). Please check measurements.

Another bonus is that I didn’t need to wear a bra on the day (D cup) as the dress is well structured and padded.

Worn only the once, with no wear or tear from the day. Has been professionally dry-cleaned and has been well-looked after since the wedding/cleaning.

Alterations

The dress was very long when it arrived so I had it shortened at the front. I am 5ft 5 inches tall and wore 3 inch block heels (mid heels). You could still easily wear higher heels, or shorter heels/flats and have the dress shortened.

I had minor professional alterations made to the bodice (pinched at shoulders). You may need a seamstress for a perfect fit but the dress has a lot of flexibility to it.
