The Dress

I wore the beautiful Dralan dress by Pronovias for my January 2018 wedding. It was bought brand new from a wedding dress supplier in Perth in November 2017 when it had only just been released. It has a simple elegance about it, I have had comments from many people at the wedding, the dress alterer and dry cleaners as to how lovely the dress is. I'm not someone who is overly attached to physical things, and so I would love someone else to feel the same way I did when wearing this dress at my wedding.

The dress has beautiful ivory crepe fabric which is very flattering. It has delicate beading to the cap sleeves, a low V-back and buttons extending down. It has a zip opening which is not visible. I had the bottom button reinforced to bustle the dress and a small bustle hook applied to the train. There is a small loop under the train to hold over the wrist if that's more your style.

The dress fit me like a glove, I had very minimal alterations done. The side seems around my hips were taken in very slightly for a snugger fit, the length was slightly shortened and the train was made a bit narrower so it wasn't hanging out on the sides. I had bra cups tacked in for the wedding, but removed them prior to dry cleaning so you can put your own size in.

I had it dry cleaned very shortly after the wedding and it has come up amazingly clean, no visible signs of previous wear.

I am 172cm tall and wore 7cm heels on the day. It would fit anyone sized 12/10 well, and extremely easy to have altered for anyone smaller. I will also include the cathedral length veil for no extra cost, purchased from Made With Love Bridal. Feel free to message me with any questions!
