The Dress

The Whitney dress is a v-neck lattice beaded gown with exquisite floral detailing through the bodice skirt.

It was a beautiful dress to wear. It was a hot day but fortunately this dress was not too hot, particularly considering it is beaded. It is not as heavy at the other KWH beaded gowns.

I also chose this dress because I could be comfortable and wear a normal bra on the day. Bra keepers were sown in to hold the straps in place so you cannot see your bra at all.

I would love to keep my dress as I adore it however I am into sustainability/recycling (sounds a bit wanky!) so I think it needs to be passed on instead of hanging in my wardrobe forever. Please give it another chance to shine and perhaps pass it on again!

I am located in regional NSW so it might be hard to try on so I have reflected this in the cost to make it a bit cheaper than what I would actually want. Happy for anyone to try on if you happen to be in north-west NSW!

I had the armholes made slightly bigger so the beads did not rub, it was perfect. It did cost around $300 to make this change though!

I also had it hemmed, I am 165cm and worse a 2.2 inch heel. All of the alterations were done at the KWH warehouse in Sydney.

Professionally dry cleaned at Happily Ever After on the Sunshine Coast who did a beautiful job. However there are a couple of tiny stains on the inside of the hem on the train. Would not be noticeable once on as it is underneath.
