The Dress
I considered myself a modern, but classic, bride and this dress epitomized my vision. This dress is effortless and comfortable but dramatic enough to make a statement!
This Elie Saab is a sleeveless open back swiss dot tulle dress, with embroidered silk thread flowers. The floral pattern is sequined, but very subtle. The long train is breathtaking. The best parts, in my opinion, are the pockets (!!) and the slit on the left side, which is noticeable when you walk. There is a slip built into the skirt, so I did not need to worry about the dress appearing see-through!
The dress has been dry-cleaned and is in excellent condition.
The measurements are as follows:
Bust: 32"
Waist: 24"
Length: hemmed to fit 5'8"
I had cups sewn into the dress, but these are easily removed if you wish. In addition, the dress can be bustled, which I didn't think I would use, but this ended up being really helpful for our first dance.
